Billboard ya ha anunciado detalles sobre sus premios anuales, los Billboard Music Awards 2016. Se entregarán el próximo 22 de mayo en una gala en directo que emitirá el canal ABC y que será presentada por Ciara y Ludacris. No son los premios más codiciados de la industria y a veces sus nominaciones no son demasiado coherentes, pero seguro que esa gala nos da un buen puñado de actuaciones relevantes.

El artista que parte como favorito a ganar mayor número de premios en los BBMA 2016 es The Weeknd, que cuenta con un total de 19 nominaciones. El cantante de 'Can't Feel My Face' sigue cosechando éxitos en el momento de mayor popularidad de toda su carrera. Le siguen en número de nominaciones Justin Bieber, que acumula 12, mientras que Drake y Fetty Wap tienen 10 cada uno.
En cuanto a divas pop, tenemos a Adele y Taylor Swift entre los nominados a los Billboard Music Awards 2016. Las dos cantantes que más discos venden en el mundo están empatadas con 8 nominaciones cada una y competirán en muchas de las categorías en las que se encuentran nominadas. ¿Quién reinará dentro de poco más de un mes en esta esperada gala?
