Demi Lovato está a punto de lanzar su nuevo disco 'Confident', que saldrá el 16 de octubre presentado por los singles 'Cool For The Summer' y 'Confident'. El vídeo de este último se estrenará este mismo viernes 9 de octubre, pero aquí tienes un teaser:

Ya hemos hablado de lo incoherente de la portada de nuevo disco de Demi Lovato, en la que la cantante luce raquítica y excesivamente retocada. ¿De verdad es este el mensaje que quiere mandar una estrella que ha pasado por serios problemas? Pues ahora da un giro y vuelve a defender la belleza real posando Demi Lovato desnuda para Patrick Ecclesine, fotógrafo de Vanity Fair. Lo particular de estas fotos, completamente diferentes a las que vimos de Demi Lovato desnuda en Complex, es que en ellas la cantante de 'Skyscraper' no solo no lleva ropa, sino que tampoco lleva ningún maquillaje y en las fotos no hay nada de Photoshop ni ningún tipo de retoque fotográfico posterior. ¿Por qué lo hace?
Demi decidía posar así el día después del fallecimiento de su bisabuelo Buddy Moore, una persona muy importante en su vida. He aquí cómo justificaba su posado, hablando de que la vida es demasiado corta y de lo que verdaderamente significa para ella 'Confident': "If there’s one thing I’ve learned in the past day, it’s that life is too short. I’m about to launch an album that finally represents who I truly am. How do I embrace this new chapter in my life? How do I really walk the walk? What does it mean to be confident? It means letting go, being authentic, saying I don’t give a fuck and this is who I am. I want to show the side of me that’s real, that’s liberated, that’s free. What if we do a photo shoot where it’s totally raw? Super-sexy, but no makeup, no fancy lighting, no retouching, and no clothing. Let’s do it here, let’s do it now".
La cantante también quiere así animar a todas las personas a sentirse bien consigo mismas, hablando una vez más de los desórdenes que sufrió en el pasado.
